The Mint

The Mint is a fintech-focused accelerator launched by Better Tomorrow Ventures in 2023. Co-founded by Sheel Mohnot (former partner at 500 Startups) and Jake Gibson (co-founder of NerdWallet), The Mint is a three-month San Francisco–based program that invests $500K for 10% equity in six to ten startups per cohort. The program is deeply focused on pre-seed fintech teams tackling financial infrastructure, compliance, and market access challenges. It offers a speaker series, office hours, and active hands-on involvement from both partners.
